Ken Bosserman’s involvement in youth baseball in Staunton, Virginia, started in 1969, serving in positions of coach, league director, and league president. In 1984, after Staunton’s many years as an independent league, Ken agreed that an association with Babe Ruth Baseball (Bambino Division) made sense and he was a driving force in the creation of what is now the Staunton Cal Ripken League.
In 1993, Ken was elected District 4 Commissioner for Babe Ruth Leagues of Virginia. In addition to his duties as District Commissioner, he also continues as an active member of the Kiwanis Club, volunteering his time at the concessions and other fund-raising activities.
In 2011, Ken was inducted into the Babe Ruth Southeast Region Hall of Fame.
Ken lives in Staunton, Virginia.
