Marty Gordon has been a girls’ fastpitch softball umpire for the past 30 years and has been involved with the Christiansburg, Blacksburg, and Wytheville recreation departments. He has helped run several recent District tournaments and volunteered at State competition.
Marty currently is the sports editor of the Christiansburg News Messenger and Radford News Journal along with being the radio voice of the Christiansburg High School football team. He also serves as a youth baseball umpire in addition to refereeing youth basketball and football. Marty lives in Blacksburg, Virginia.
