Paul Coates came to Virginia Babe Ruth in 2023 from Rockville Softball where he served the previous 3 years as softball commissioner and board member.

He has also served as a coach and volunteer since 2015. 

In Paul's professional career, he has worked for Northrop Grumman Corp. as a Sr. Software Developer since 2007.

He grew up in Catonsville, MD, and graduated from West Virginia University in 1994.
